Teaching and Learning Values in the Story of Moses and Al-Khader (PBUT)

The current study aimed to explore the teaching and learning values in the story of Moses and Al-Khader، "peace be upon them"، in comparison with contemporary teaching and learning values. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the deductive approach. The study consisted of an introduction، two sections and a conclusion. The study revealed a number of results، the most important of which are: 1- The values of teaching and learning deduced from the story were a hundred values، fifty of which are values for the teacher and the other fifty values for the learner; 2- Teaching and learning values in the story are varied، including: devotional، moral، personal، scientific، professional and societal values; 3- That the teacher’s professional values have the highest frequency among the rest of the values (twenty) indicates the importance of the professional educational preparation of the teacher; 4- That the societal values of the teacher come in the second rank (fourteen values) proves the significance of the teacher's relationship with society، his need to gain the trust of community، and his interaction with the surrounding environment of his educational latitude، starting with the family which is the first institution of education، and the rest of the various institutions of the community; 5- That the moral values of the learner have the highest frequency in the values of the learner (nineteen values) emphasizes the importance of the moral aspect for the learner; 6- That the scientific values of the learner come in the second rank (fifteen values) indicates the importance of knowledge seeking and acquisition after attaining of the moral aspect
