Abstract

The study dealt wit: The degree of participatory leadership practice among secondary school principals in Tabuk city from the teachers' point of view.

The study aimed to The study aimed to reveal the degree of participatory leadership practice among secondary school principals in Tabuk city from the point of view of teachers in three domains (planning, decision-making, and human relations). And to determine whether there are statistically significant differences between the response averages of the respondents about the practice of participatory leadership among secondary school principals in Tabuk, due to (years of experience - and academic qualification), and the researcher used the "descriptive survey" method, and the study sample was (237) teachers. It constituted (38.54%) of the study population. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the "questionnaire" designed by the researcher was prepared. To analyze the data, the researcher used several appropriate statistical methods.

The study concluded a set of results, the most important of which were:

- The practice of participatory leadership among secondary school principals in Tabuk city came from the teachers' point of view, with a high degree, and the field of human relations came in the first place, and the field of decision-making came in the second place, and the field of planning came in the third place, all of them with a high degree.

- There are statistically significant differences in the responses between the average ranks of the study sample of secondary school teachers in Tabuk city about (the total of the second domain: the participation of the school principal in decision-making, and the total of the third domain: the role of the school principal in human relations, and the total questionnaire) according to the variable years Experience

- There are no statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the responses of the study sample of secondary school teachers about the degree of practice (the first domain: the school principal's participation in planning, the second domain: the school principal's participation in decision-making, and the third domain: the school principal's role in human relations ) and (total questionnaire) according to the educational qualification variable between the category of (Bachelor) and (higher than Bachelor)

The most important recommendations: The need to involve the secondary school administration in the city of Tabuk for teachers in preparing the school's vision, by making each teacher put the future image that the school should have in order to keep pace with future trends, and many meetings take place until the best picture is reached.
