Abstract

This research examines the interpreters in Saudi Arabia from 1421 AH to 1444 AH, aiming to shed light on the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Holy Qur'an and its interpretation, and to illustrate the extent of its influence on the activity of the scientific movement in interpretation and Qur'anic sciences, highlighting the efforts of scholars of interpretation during this period of time.

The research is divided into three chapters: the first and second being brief biographies of the interpreters, focusing on their lineage, upbringing, prominent teachers and students if any, their teachings and positions, their efforts in interpretation, and their methodology in their interpretation if they have one. Then the third chapter, where the researchers compiled the characteristics of interpretation during this period.

The researchers adopted the descriptive-inductive approach and the historical approach, by identifying the interpreters of Saudi Arabia in the aforementioned period.

They reached important conclusions, including: the distinction of interpreters during this period with comprehensive interpretation and writing of simplified interpretations, because their attention was directed towards Muslims in general.

Some recommendations include: applying the study to other countries.
