Abstract

-. One of the essential sovereign matters entrusted to various scientific and political authorities، as well as intellectuals and politicians in many countries around the world، is the preservation of the national language. This is not a luxury; rather، it is inspired by their keenness to protect the national language from foreign language infiltration and dominance، as well as their influences. This is because the national language is the most significant part of identity، as well as one of the most vital cornerstones and foundations for preserving a country's original character. Imposing a nation's culture on the culture of another people or nation is accomplished by imposing its language، abandoning the national language، and being lenient in dealing with other languages that may exclude it. Yet، the greatest danger occurs when this is done on a scientific and educational level.
-. Thus، this paper deals with these points and its relation to Arabic language، attempting to clarify the reality of Arabic language and analyzing it to reach what should the condition of Arabic language be and what should we do to preserve it، as it is the most important foundation of intellect and identity.
-. The paper reached a number of conclusions and recommendations، the most important of which is the necessity of imposing comprehensive Arabization on a national level، as well as establishing an Arab translation apparatus، and spending generously on it from the states' budgets. The decision to impose the use of Arabic in educational institutions has become a political and scientific necessity that must be made at the political decision-making level. Yet، some foreign terms may be used in education until an Arabic equivalent is established.
-. In order to communicate with the latest scientific findings، today's researcher and student must learn at least one foreign language.
