Role of Transformational Leadership on Administrative Creativity in Yemeni Islamic Banking Sector in the Existence of Electronic Management as a Mediating Variable

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the mediating role of e-management on the relationship between transformational leadership and administrative creativity in Yemeni Islamic banking sector. The descriptive analytical approach was used to achieve the objectives of the study. The population of the study consisted of (1900) employees in four Yemeni Islamic Banks. Questionnaires of (320) were distributed randomly. Availed questionnaires of (312) were used for statistical analysis. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to analyze the collected data. The findings revealed a significant positive moral impact of transformational leadership on both: e-management and administrative creativity. The findings also showed a significant positive moral impact of e-management on administrative creativity. Simultaneously, the findings revealed a significant mediating role of e-management on the relationship between transformational leadership and administrative creativity. The study recommends that greater attention needs to be given to transformational leadership and e-management due to their positive impact on administrative creativity.
