Modern Arabic grammar was influenced by structuralism Through the thought of Tammam Hassan, the renewal
Keywords:
grammar, structuralism, Tammam HassanAbstract
This research attempts to prove that modern Arabic grammar was affected by the structural approach through the thought of Tammam Hassan, whose reading came with many readings of the Arabic linguistic heritage in general, and the grammatical heritage in particular of Arab linguists whose efforts were organized in examining the linguistic phenomenon, taking advantage of the methods and theories of modern linguistic studies in the West.
And that all attempts at renewal, including Hassan’s attempt, are not seen in the context of accusation and defamation of their efforts, but it was from them out of positive jealousy for this great heritage, after linguistic studies awakened in them the astonishment of it and the incentive to resurrect, purify and develop it.
This research was based on four determinants:
First: The effect of structuralism on Hassan's perspectives
Second: The effect of structuralism on the theory of evidence
Third: The effect of structuralism on obtaining meaning
Fourth: The effect of structuralism in judgment on factor theory
The research tried to prove that Hassan’s grammatical thought in these main paths was affected by structuralism and its various directions, through the procedural aspect in Hassan’s linguistic studies, ignoring Hassan’s employment of the Arabic linguistic heritage in his intellectual path, specifically the science of semantics is not a martyrdom, but rather a framing and framing; It is natural to employ the heritage that worked hard to renew its grammatical structures.
