Abstract

The research aims to liberate the nature of the year and clarify its allocations and issues, and mention the aspects of the general uses in the Qur’an and the Sunnah and the uses of the people of the language, and to find out what is meant by the words of the general and the particular, and the types of allocations, and knowing the year that is intended by the general, or what is intended by the specific, or the specific year, and other That is a related issue.

It has reached many results, the most important of which are:

1. The general is a setting for comprehensiveness and absorption, and this is benefited from the linguistic general formulas that indicate it by itself, or otherwise, and they are many.
2. Custom and intellect allocate the general, so the general is limited to what is required of it, and what remains is called the customary general and the rational general, so that the fundamentalists release these two meanings to this concept.
3. The judgment must be established in all matters covered by the term general until there is evidence of its specification.
