The approach of Imam Ibn al-Attar in the Kitab al-Iddah fi Sharh al-Umdah "A descriptive and analytical study"

with valuable scientific additions, 3) the author’s scientific commitment and respectfulness with violators of other doctrines, 4) the author’s adherence to the evidence and its jurisprudence, and reject what was contrary to it even if it was stated from the same doctrine in which the author belongs, and 5) the author’s interest in mentioning fundamental and juristic rules and of the hadith. The most important recommendations are: 1) to emphasize on studying all what is written by Ibn al-Attar related to Imam Al-Nawawi. 2) to reveal whether he was merely a translator as it was claimed, and 3) the necessity of diligence in searching for the rest of Ibn al-Attar’s books that has been separated over the world, and taking care of his investigations to bring this Imam’s knowledge closer to the students.
