Abstract

The emergence of the name of coffee in the world was associated with Yemen in the modern era and it became a term synonymous with it. Coffee is a purely Yemeni Arab discovery with which it enriched the Arab human civilization and became its favorite drink during modern and contemporary history. The manufacture of coffee is inevitable, which is what this research will discuss.

The research reached important results, the most important of which are:

1/ The research proved that the discoverer of the regions from Yemen was Sheikh Ali bin Omar Al-Qurashi Al-Shazly during the ninth century AH / fifteenth century AD?

2/ The beginning of the spread of coffee cultivation in Yemen and the spread of coffee in the Hijaz, the Levant, Iraq, Egypt, the Maghreb, Istanbul, the Balkan countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then its transfer to Europe and America.
