The problems faced by students of practical education in the College of Education Bagel – University of Hodeida during the field Training period from their point of view

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the most important problems facing students of practical education in Bagel College of Education and  Practical and Technological Sciences  during the field  practice from their  point of view through a questionnaire consisting of seven axes that includes (72) paragraphs and was distributed to (46) male and female students representing the four departments of the College Sections. The descriptive approach  was used in collecting and discussing data. The most important results of the research: most difficulties and problems facing students of practical education are the difficulties related to the field of student-teacher problems which ranked first with an average (3.6656) and a standard deviation (0.68672) with a medium availability degree, while the least difficulties they faced were difficulties related to the field of the school principals problems that ranked last with an average (3.1149) and a standard deviation (1.13034) with a medium degree of availability. Looking at the responses of the sample members to all the questionnaire items, the item (the supervisor does not respond to my opinion when I correct him) got the highest arithmetic average (4.2826) and a standard deviation (1.04696) with a degree of large availability, while the item (not using modern educational techniques in teaching) got the lowest arithmetic average (2.3478) and a standard deviation (1.52341) with (medium) availability. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) due to the gender variable (male-female) in all areas of the

research tool. On the other hand, the results showed that there were  statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05)  in three areas of the questionnaire: the educational  supervisor, the cooperating teacher and the cooperating school, and the management of practical education program attributed to the variable of specialization, and it was in favor of the Arabic language department, followed by the computer teacher department, then English language department, and then the department of chemistry.
