Abstract

Imam Ibn Aljawzi's Approach (597 H) in His Book Strange Hadith (GhareebAlhadith).

This paper tackles the approach followed by Imam Ibn Aljwzi in his book Strange Hadith (GhareebAlhadith). Since every author has his own approach in his writing and there are many books on strange hadith, the researcher wants to explain the approach followed by Ibn Aljawzi to make it easy for students to save their time and effort and benefit from this valuable book. The paper includes an introduction that contains the importance of the study and the research plan. Next, it explains what strange hadith means, the importance of knowing it, how it is interpreted and the most important books on it. Then, it provides an overview of Ibn ALjawzi (May Allah give mercy on him.) and his book Strange Hadith (GharibAlhadith). After that, the paper focuses on Ibn Aljawzi's approach in explaining the strange hadith. The concluding section presents the main results and recommendations. Finally, the paper lists the important indices and references.
