Keywords:
milk banks, jurisprudence, childrenAbstract
The purpose of the research is to find out the milk banks and the rule of their establishment and breastfeeding, and the search resulted in the following results:
First, the idea of milk banks is to: collect milk from donated or paid mothers; this milk is taken in a sterile manner; it is kept in sterile bottles after being sterilized again in milk banks and given to children in need of breastfeeding.
Second, those who benefit from milk banks are children whose mothers can not breastfeed them, such as preterm infants, low birth weight children, children whose mothers die with their need for human milk, and no alternative breastfeeding.
Thirdly, the importance of these banks comes from the provision of natural breast milk, which call on mothers to breastfeed their children because of its importance, because of the many benefits of both the child and the mother.
Fourth: The scholars differed on the ruling on establishing milk banks and breastfeeding them on three points. After presenting the evidence, the first view is that it is haraam to establish milk banks, and breastfeeding is forbidden because there is no need for such banks. Milk of these banks.
