Abstract

This research deals with the Furshi Readings that were uniquely narrated in the narration of Hafs bin 'Aasim through the Shatibiyyah, and to prove the agreement of some readers and narrators other than the Shatibiyyah with him.

It is most likely that some readers or narrators agree on the words that are disputed among all the readers, such as the agreement of the Kufians with each other and with others, Nafi' and Ibn Kathir and Abu 'Amr with each other, the agreement of the rest of the readers in the other reading, or the agreement of some of the readers of the three readings that complete the ten readings in Al-Durrah or Al-Nashr with the readers of the seven in Al-Shatibiyyah, and other agreements and so on.

The origin is agreement and most of the Quran is agreed upon in its transmission. However, a narrator or reader may be unique from the readers in some words, following what he narrated from his sheikh and his reading to him; so, some readers or narrators from paths unfamiliar of him.

This research came to track the readings and narrations that agreed with Hafs in what was uniquely narrated from him from the Shatibiyyah path, and to mention those from the unknown paths from the sources and books that were the origins of the book Al-Nashr by Ibn Al-Jazari.
