The Role of the University in Reinforcing the Values of Integrity and Anti-Corruption among Students from an Educational Perspective

The current study aimed to reveal the role of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in reinforcing the values of integrity and combating corruption from an educational perspective, which branches into achieving the following objectives: identifying the role of the university professor in reinforcing the values of integrity and combating corruption from an educational perspective, identifying the role of academic courses in reinforcing the values of integrity and anti-corruption from an educational perspective, identifying the role of student activities in reinforcing the values of integrity and combating corruption from an educational perspective, and revealing the obstacles that hinder the University from doing its role in reinforcing the values of integrity and anti-corruption from an educational perspective, and reaching suggestions that contribute in the university to fulfill its role in reinforcing the values of integrity and anti-corruption from an educational perspective. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire tool was prepared, consisting of 42 items measuring the quantitative aspect, and two items measuring the qualitative aspect. It was applied on (750) male and female students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University during the third semester of the academic year 2022/2023. The study reached many results, the most important of which is that the values of integrity are achieved at the university from the students’ perceptions to a very high degree. Furthermore, the study presented some obstacles to reinforcing the values of integrity at the university from the students’ point of view, in addition to proposals that contribute to the university achieving its role in reinforcing the values of integrity and combating corruption from an educational perspective.
