The Denotation of the Letter (bal)... An Applied Fundamental Study

This research aims to study the significance of the letter (bal) from an applied jurisprudential perspective, as it intends to explain its different types, meanings, and indications according to contexts, in addition to mentioning the opinions of linguists and fundamentalists about it, as well as to collect a number of applications in the jurisprudential branches in which the existence of the letter (bal) had an impact in their rulings. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the inductive approach, the deductive approach and the descriptive approach. The research highlights the importance of interdisciplinary studies that combine different sciences, and the great impact of understanding the semantics of the letters of meanings on the interpretation of legal texts. The research reached several results, the most significant of which are: that the letter (bal) is one of the most important letters of meanings; it is one of the conjunctive letters that combines the appendix to the appendedonjunctive letters that combines theful letters, in the utterance not the meaning, so it ascertains to the appendix what the appended is excluded from. In addition, it comes with words to become a conjunction, and comes with sentences to be for commencement or continuation in the opinion of the majority, which is the weighing opinion. Besides, it is for abstaining, and it comes for retraction in certain places according to some scholars.
The research recommends conducting more research on the letters of meanings, and studying them in an applied, fundamental study.
