The value constructs that make up the value system that enhances family security From The Point Of View Of Education Experts

Abstract

The current study is designed to build a value system that strengthens family security from the viewpoint of educational experts in the following aspects: piety values, structure values, and transaction values aspect. The study employed a non-probability (convenient) sampling method and the descriptive approach besides interviews as the study tool. The sample consisted of two groups: the first group consisted of (20) educational experts from (9) Saudi universities, and the second group consisted of (5) educational experts from (5) Saudi universities. The most important results reached: creating a value system consisting of the following aspects, constructs, and values:

First: piety values aspect: which includes the following: 1- Creed structure (creed values), consisting of and among its values: (belief in God \ love of God and His Messenger); 2- Worshipping structure (worshipping values), among its values: (upholding acts of worship \ instilling values). Second: Structure values, which contains the following: 1- Mental structure (mental values), among its values: (critical thinking \ reading); 2- Physical structure (physical values), among its values: (sports exercise \ health awareness); 3- Psychological structure (psychological values), among its values: (self-esteem \ self-confidence). Third: Transactional values, consisting of the following: 1- Moral structure (moral values), among its values: (truthfulness \ honesty); 2- Social structure (social values), among its values: (bearing responsibility \ family interaction); 3- Economic and practical structures (worshipping values), among its values: (rationalization \ productivity); 4- National structure (national values), among its values: (respect for regulations and laws \ belonging to homeland); 5- Recreational structure (recreational values), among its values: (time organization \ practicing activities). The study recommended putting the value system strengthening family security that is proposed in this study in a test through carrying out experimental studies based on a training program based on the structures of this system, and then measuring its effectiveness.
