Abstract

The objectives of this research are: highlighting the verses of awe in the Qur’an and studying them objectively، and stressing the importance and necessity of awe in the Muslim's practical life.

The researcher used the descriptive approach which is based on induction، analysis and deduction.

Among the most important results were: that the word "awe" was repeated in the Holy Qur'an in different techniques due to its necessity in the Muslim's life; that awe is the evidence of the servant's righteousness and his fear of Allah; and it is a consort of piety، i.e. whoever is very fearful of Allah، is greatly pious.
