The effect of an Enrichment Program in the Light of the Integrated STEM Approach in Developing Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills among Gifted Students in the Republic of Yemen.

The study aimed to identify the impact of an enrichment program in the light of the integrated (STEM) approach in developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills among gifted students in the secondary stage in the Republic of Yemen. The research adopted the semi-experimental approach with two equivalent groups, and the study sample consisted of (60) students from the second year of secondary school at Jamal Al-Nasser Secondary School for Gifted Students – Sana'a. The researcher designed a test of creative thinking and problem solving skills. Also, the researcher designed the enrichment program (student's book and teacher's guide), in light of the STEM approach.The study showed the following results:1- There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the control group and the experimental group in the post test of creative thinking skills in favor of the experimental group.2- There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the control group and the experimental group in the post test of problem-solving skills in favor of the experimental group.3-There is a significant impact of the enrichment program designed in the light of the (STEM) approach in developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
