Abstract

There is fairness in the Qur'anic speech and expressions of the "people of the book", as the quality of goodness in them is not denied. On the contrary, it is mentioned in God's Holy Qur'an that is recited until the day of judgement. That is so the "people of the book" would not be able to deny any bad discourse mentioned about them in any of the verses of the Holy Qur'an. The Holy Qur'an is the most just book in all times. Therefore, as it mentions the attribute of goodness in them, it must be truthful when it mentions the bad qualities that the "people of the book" had. This is the habit of the Qur'an: it does not generalize any perception, unless the generalization is the unquestionable truth, even if it is about people who are worthy of praise, as it is the case in mentioning some of the "people of the book", even if they are the most dissenting with Allah's regulations.

The study contains an introduction, a preface, two chapters, and a conclusion.
