The legal concept of the call

Abstract

The research aims to clarify the legal concept of da’wah, addressing the concept of da’wah in language and terminology, the concept of da’wah in the Qur’an and Sunnah, the importance of da’wah, its virtues and characteristics.

Based on the inductive analytical method.

The research reached the following results

1- The Islamic call in the language came with several meanings, including: the call, the request and the desire for something.

2- The use of the concept of da’wah in the Qur’an and Sunnah has many meanings. These meanings are known by knowing the context of the verse or hadith.

3- The Qur’an and the Sunnah pay great attention to the call to guide people and their happiness in both worlds.

4- Calling to God is the function of the prophets and their heirs, and it is the noblest of what he does.

5- The Islamic call is characterized by the attributes of God, perfection, comprehensiveness, and moderation with all creation.
