Abstract

All praises due to Allah and He is sufficient.

May the blessings and mercy of Allah be on His messenger.

However,this research includes autopsy and the position of Islamic jurists regarding it..

It contains the definition of autopsy both in the language and terminology.

It is included in this research, explanation of the historical activity of autopsy,which started with the animals and before that,the Pharaoh of Musa had been embalmed.

This research took cognizance of how did autopsy became new phenomenon to Islamic jurisdiction and what led the Islamic jurists to go for research on it by looking at it in different types with the definition of each type then given each type it's ruling.

The scholars differ into two groups on the ruling:those that see autopsy being allowed and those ones that see it being prohibited.

This research is going to State the evidence of each group and scrutinize it then,the judgement would be given after the discussion of their evidence.

This research also explained the ruling behind the purchasing of corpse base on autopsy's preceptorship.

In the conclusion,the references are stated and the books of Fataawa are included as well as the books mainly written on this new phenomenon.
