The pearls hidden in the purposes and secrets of Surat Al-Baynah

Abstract

 This noble Surah includes a group of sublime purposes and noble goals, which are the subject of the research; such as: rebuking the People of the Book, the Jews and Christians, and rebuking the polytheists and idol worshippers, for their insistence on their tyranny and clear misguidance. As for the People of the Book, after Moses and Jesus left them, they stumbled and distorted the words from their places and forgot a portion of what they were reminded of, and they took their rabbis and monks as lords besides God, and their religion became a hateful mixture in which, alongside the simple truth, there were misguidance and misguidance. As for the polytheists who do not believe in monotheism and do not believe in resurrection, like the polytheists of Mecca, they have fallen into falsehood to its furthest extent, and their religion has become a distortion of ignorant beliefs and outdated traditions. He reminded the People of the Book that they are more criminal and more ugly than the polytheists who are ignorant of the truth and do not know its path. Because the People of the Book knew it with certainty, and yet they disbelieved in it out of stubbornness and envy from themselves, and the record against them that they are the worst of creation, and that the believers are the best of creation, and the response to the disbelievers from the polytheists and the People of the Book, by stating that what the Prophet brought is the truth, then I mentioned the reward of those who remained in disbelief from them, and those who believed in the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. This research aims to clarify those great purposes through the descriptive method, and the analytical method in dealing with the subject, whether when talking about the definition of the Surah, and what is related to that from the reason for its name, and its relationship to what came before it and after it, and other than that, or what is related to its purposes, and what is learned from it, and this method is to present the information related to the verses, by stating their meanings, and what they indicate of the meanings that the commentators have stated, and the analytical aspect will prevail in this research; Surat Al-Bayyinah is one of the surahs that exposes the People of the Book, the polytheists, and those who oppose Allah Almighty and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. They know the truth and are certain of it, but they do not believe it, let alone follow it. Then, the outcome of the Muslims who believe in Allah Almighty and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, is to win the pleasure of Allah and His Paradise. In addition, the fear of Allah Almighty is the key to happiness in both worlds for all human beings, and it is one of the most important doors to the eternal Paradise that Allah Almighty has prepared for His pious servants; which requires Muslims to achieve it.
