This is part of a scientific thesis submitted to obtain the degree of “PhD” in the field of interpretation, and it is entitled: “Pioneers of Interpretation” by Muhammad bin Omar Al-Mabarnabadi from the beginning of Surat An-Nisa to the end of verse (144) of Surat Al-A’raf, a study and investigation.
In this section, I discussed the introduction to the author Muhammad bin Omar al-Mabarnabadhi, the introduction to the book “Fa’id al-Tafsir,” and an explanation of the author’s approach.
It relied on the inductive and analytical approach.
The research aims to introduce the author, Muhammad bin Omar Al-Mabarnabadi, and his book, “Fa’id Al-Tafsir,” and explain the author’s approach to it.
A number of results emerged for me, the most important of which are:
- The translation of Muhammad ibn Umar al-Mabarnabadi is very scarce.
- The book “Fa’id Al-Tafsir” is a valuable book, and unique in its art.
- Al-Mabarnabadi summarized the interpretations of Al-Kashshaf by Al-Zamakhshari.
- Sometimes he summarized it faithfully, while at other times he violated the meaning and summarized it incorrectly.
