Jurisprudence Provisions for the Wife of the Missing in Light of Modern Means of Communication

Abstract

Jurisprudence is a renewed science with the renewal of years and days, and one of the important topics related to scientific progress in this era is the subject of the missing person and the jurisprudence provisions related to it. Thus, this study was entitled Jurisprudence provisions for the wife of the missing in light of modern means of communication.

The importance of the topic lies in the fact that it is one of the topics that concern the missing person's wife in her daily dealings, as it is one of the provisions related to the family. In fact, there is a number of missing people, from whose absence result provisions related to their spouses, besides this leads to linking Islamic jurisprudence with contemporary reality.

Among the objectives of the topic: studying the legal rulings related to the missing person, and linking the jurisprudential rulings related to the missing person to contemporary reality.

This research includes an introduction, three sections and a conclusion. As for the introduction: the researcher mentioned the importance of the topic, the reason for choosing it, and the research plan. The first section dealt with the definition of the missing person and modern means of communication, and the second section talked about the jurisprudence provisions of the wife of the missing person, and the third section was about the impact of modern means of communication on the jurisprudential rulings for the missing person.

Among the most important findings of the researcher is that means of communication have a major role in searching for the missing person through the use of newspapers, magazines, satellite channels, and social networks.
