The study aims to interpret the Almighty saying: {( يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون )} [Surat Al-An’am: 158] = "On the Day your Lord’s signs arrive،belief will not benefit those who did not believe earlier or those who did no good through their faith" . In addition،it aims to address the issues that this Verse mention of Doomsday prophecies upon which repentance is not accepted،as well as the scholars opinions on this topic. Also،the study highlights the importance of repentance and that it has a limited period and what the Verse's style of warning and threat for those who disbelieve that one day he/she will believe in his/her God but his/her faith will not be accepted. The study also clarifies the agreement points between this Verse and hadiths in regard of that matter،which may appear different for the first time reading them،and that what is weighing between scholars' opinions in the meaning of this Verse is that the time repentance is not accepted is when the sunrises from the west. Such method of warning and threat makes the heart fear and the ears wonder،especially if it came from the Creator of the universe. The most reason why the Islamic scholars differ in interpretations of this Verse is their previous core creeds which affect the interpretation according to their previous inclinations. The interpreter of Allah's words must clean his mind and heart before interpreting the text،so that his/her interpretation inclines to the text،not to what his heart likes and feels. When the interpretation comes from the prophet Mohammed – peace be upon him –،all interpretations must be cast away،especially if they differ from the prophet's interpretations. His interpretation precedes all others،and it is prohibited to object it by anyone's opinion or Ijtehad.
