Soft Skills for Workers in the Hajj and Umrah Sector in the Light of Islamic Culture

Proceeding from the Islamic culture’s care of the individual and society, and their refinement and purification, and given Islam’s directive to the obligation of Hajj, which is considered the largest and most important conference for Muslims, this research came to shed light on the workers in the Hajj and Umrah sector, and the importance of caring for them and directing them to acquire the necessary skills to deal with the large crowds that come from every deep abyss.
This research focused on the aspect of soft skills, which is considered today the first pillar in dealing with beneficiaries in various fields and institutions. Therefore, it was necessary to pay attention to them in the aspect of serving the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, by the analytical approach of the Verses and Hadiths related to Hajj and Umrah.
The research reached a number of results, among them: that the Hajj and Umrah are great domains the need workers with high level of comprehension and knowledge of the soft skills, so that they are able to confront the different obstacles and challenges, and pass them with ease and simplicity.
The research recommends the following:
- The necessity to carry out field studies to measure the extent of soft skills mastery of the workers in Hajj and Umrah sector.
- The necessity to carry out field studies to measure the extent of the satisfaction of Al-Rahman's guests towards the services presented by of the workers in Hajj and Umrah sector.
