Common Pretexts between the Support and the Text Using the Support of One Hadith for Supporting Another and Using the Text of One Hadith in the Text of Another

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in that it examines a pretext that many of Hadith science students neglect, which is "using the support of one Hadith for supporting another." Only those who are skillful in evaluating supports and texts pay attention to this pretext, as some think that these two supports are one support, or those two texts are one text, and that distinguishing between the accepted and the refuted among supports and texts of Hadiths is what researchers in the science of Hadith must do.

This research consists of: an introduction that includes: the importance of the topic, reasons for choosing it, its limits, and previous studies; a preface that includes: definition of the support and the text in Hadiths and importance of the science of pretext; then, there are two chapters: the first contains two sections talking about the pretexts of supports and text with examples, and the second chapter that has two sections talking about examples of employing a support for another with examples and employing a text for another with examples. At the end of the research, there is a conclusion with the important results recommendations.
