Abstract

The research aims to clarify the virtues of the word monotheism, its meaning, its conditions, and responding to misconceptions about it. The research dealt with the virtues of the word monotheism, the meaning of God, the syntax of the word monotheism, the meaning of the word monotheism, the conditions for the word monotheism, and the response to misconceptions about it. It relied on the analytical inductive method. The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are: First: The investigators from among the imams of belief, interpretation, hadith and language are of the view that the meaning of God is:          The idol, which is supported by the origin of the word and its derivation in the Arabic language.
