Abstract

The research deals with the reality of the Jewish reform movement, the reasons for its internal and external appearance, the stages of reform, the reasons for the spread of the Jewish reform movement and its relationship with modern movements, its most important conferences and institutions, the most prominent leaders of the Jewish reform movement and its most prominent opponents.

It was based on the critical analytical method.

The research concluded with important results, the most important of which are:

  1. 1. The Jewish reform movement is one of the aspects of secularism in the world.
  2. 2. Despite the beauty of the term (reform movement), it carries with it all the ugliness in the Jewish religion.
  3. 3. This type of reform considers religion a subject, not a tool, for reform.
  4. 4. The Jewish reform movement eased the Jewish religious duties and obligations in order to attract followers to it.
  5. 5. The Jewish Reform movement aims to integrate Jews with others.
  6. 6. The ideas of the Jewish reform movement indicate a resentment towards religion and its people.
