Abstract

This research aims to clarify the reality of the dispute between scholars on the subject of scientific miracles in the Noble Qur’an, by clarifying the opinions of scholars for and against, and reviewing and discussing the evidence of supporters and opponents. In this I relied on extrapolating the opinions of the two groups and refuting them in a way that shows the truth about them. It was taken from the conditions and controls of scientific interpretation that were set by scholars as a measure by which these opinions are measured. Among the most prominent results of this research:

The Noble Qur’an was revealed by God Almighty to be a book of guidance for people; One of the most important means of guidance is to show his scientific miracle.

Imam Al-Shatibi, may God have mercy on him, is considered one of the most prominent opponents, and Imam Al-Ghazali, may God have mercy on him, is one of the most prominent supporters, and on their views, opinions were built after them.

- Observing the conditions and controls set by scholars during the scientific interpretation of the Qur’an protects the exegete – God willing – from deviation in it, and a defect in one of these conditions is a deviation that is owed to the interpreter and not to the scientific interpretation.
