Abstract

The research aims to accurately define the concept of cursing in the Noble Qur’an, in addition to its effects on the individual and society, and the research consists of three sections, the first section dealt with the concept of cursing in the Qur’an, the second topic dealt with the religious and verbal imperatives of cursing, and the third topic dealt with the behavioral imperatives.

The research concluded with the most important results:

1- The curse of God is expulsion and banishment.

2 - Cursing from people in relation to some of them is insulting and cursing.

3- Cursing a believer is like killing him.

4- Breaking public and private covenants and charters causes chaos, destruction and devastation to societies and peoples.
