Abstract

Praise is due to Allah, Prayer and Peace be upon Prophet Mohammed,

This research entitled “Abu Dhar’s Hadith: A Light that I cannot See: A Study and an Authentication” aims to study the hadith’s versions in order to distinguish the genuine ones from the non-tenable ones and say which can be considered as the main argument to prove that the Prophet, Prayer and Peace be upon him, did not see Allah during the Meeraj journey.

The research has an introduction, a preface, four research sections and a conclusion:

-Preface: What scholars say about whether the Prophet saw Allah or not.

-Research section 1: Autheticating the Hadith through the Sunnah books and evaluating the degree of its authenticity.

-Research section 2: Discussing the eventual weakness of the Hadith.

-Research section 3: The authenticity of the version “A Light that I cannot see”

-Research section 4: Deciding which version is more tenable than the others.

This piece of research shows that the Hadith is genuine and authentic and proves that Prophet Mohammed, Prayer and Peace be upon him, didn’t see Allah during the Meeraj journey.
