The role of women in preserving Sharia (the Musnad of female companions in the Book of Hajj from the Nine Books as an example)

Abstract

This research collected the hadiths and traces attributed to female companions in the book Hajj and Umrah from the nine books, arranged in jurisprudential order, with brief translations of these hadiths clarifying their meaning. The total hadiths reached eighty-eight hadiths.  This highlights the role of women in preserving Sharia law, and facilitates knowledge of the rulings that pertain to them during Hajj, in addition to other Hajj rulings. The research calls for making an effort to collect the supports of female companions in other sections of jurisprudence, especially in the aspects that pertain to women.
