A Suggestive Training Program by Using Coordination Abilities and its Effect on the Complex Offensive Skill Performance of Handball Junior Players
Abstract
The Scientific progress has become the brand of the era with its fast progression and the new arising movements and modern concepts which affect its approach and methods, opening new horizons for innovation in all aspects of life. Thus, many developed countries make continuous efforts to prepare handball junior players on clear scientific basis, as they are considered the broad foundation on which handball flourishes. The research aims to design a training program to develop some coordinated abilities, and determine its effect on the complex skill performance of handball junior players. The researcher employed the experimental method, with one experimental group using pre- and post-test technique for its convenience to the nature of this research. The sample was taken using the intentional method; it consisted of 20 junior handball players.
Major Results:
1- The proposed (experimental) training program using coordinated abilities showed a positive effect on the research sample.
2- The proposed (experimental) training program using coordinated abilities had a positive effect on the complex skill performance.
Recommendations:
1- Applying the coordinated abilities program on the level of junior handball players' sector.
2- Developing coordinated abilities inside the training programs specific for junior stages for their effect in raising the level of complex skill performance.
