Abstract

The research aims to clarify the characteristics of the spoilers in the Holy Qur’an, and it dealt with the definition of corruption, the methods of the Holy Qur’an in clarifying the manifestations of corruption, the Qur’an’s method in explaining the manifestations of corruption and the spoilers, Qur’anic models for corruption and the spoilers, and the consequences of corruption and spoilers in the Holy Qur’an.

It relied on the analytical inductive method.

It has reached important results, the most important of which are:

1/ The term (corruption) in the Noble Qur’an does not indicate what is generally accepted in the minds of the general public, that the word corruption means non-compliance with the law, especially with regard to the subject of legal rulings, which are related to the personal behavior of a person, such as drinking alcohol, fornication, failure to perform religious duties, and bad behavior. Ethics and the like. The meaning that the Noble Qur’an gives to this term is much broader than what is generally accepted in the minds of the general public.

2/ There is a similarity in the Holy Qur’an between the term (corruption) and the word (land), and if we perform a simple statistical process, we will find that the wise book used the word (corruption) and its conjugations up to fifty times, and in all of these uses the name of the land or a sign to it, except for eleven times in which the land is not mentioned; Because the use was in the context of describing the work of the corrupters and its punishment.

3 / The diversity of the linguistic style of the Holy Qur’an to show the manifestations of corruption, including: the interrogative style, the condition, the prohibition, the affirmation...etc.
