Abstract

Title of the research: A clarification of the biography of 'Ataa As-Saleemi، and the (meaning of the) term " munqati' " (disconnected) when used by Al-Bardeeji and his student at-Tabaraani.

The goal of the research: to clarify the biography of 'Ataa As-Saleemi، and that he is one person، and not two different men with the same name، and to clarify the incorrectness of the narration which was attributed to him، and to clarify the term " munqati' " when used by Al-Bardeeji and at-Tabaraani

The research will consist of: an introduction، four issues، a conclusion، and an index.

And the researcher ends with the conclusion: that 'Ataa As-Saleemi is one person، and he was alive at the time of Anas ibn Maalik but he didn't see him، rather he never narrated any hadeeth as " marfoo' "، and the reason for that is due to his dedication to asctecism and fear، and that the term " munqati' " is used with the meaning of " maqtoo' " with Al-Bardeeji and at-Tabaraani.
