The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on Generative Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Developing Arabic Language Teaching Skills among Primary School Teachers

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on generative artificial intelligence techniques in developing Arabic language teaching skills among primary school teachers. To achieve this, a quasi-experimental design was used. The study sample consisted of (40) Arabic language female teachers from primary stage in Al-Hasad Schools, Al-Quwaysimah District, Amman Governorate, during the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Teachers were selected using convenience sampling. The study instrument was a teaching skills observation checklist, the validity and reliability of which were verified. The results showed statistically significant differences between the responses of the experimental and control groups on the teaching skills observation checklist, both in the overall score and in all dimensions of the checklist. These differences favored the experimental group. Based on its findings, the study recommends generalizing the training program to Arabic language teachers at different educational levels to ensure the propagation of advanced skills in learning management and the use of technological applications, especially artificial intelligence applications.
