Abstract

The subject of this research is: “the rulings of children in mosques, a comparative study.” This research is a brief study of jurisprudential issues related to children, and what they specialize in inside mosques.

The researcher used inductive approach that compares between the schools of jurisprudence. The research contains an introduction, four chapters, a conclusion, and indexes of resources and references.

The main goal of this research is to clarify the jurisprudential rulings related to children in mosques and praying in them, and several goals fall under this basic goal, the most important of which are:

  • The ruling on children entering the mosque, the ruling on carrying a child while praying, and their using of electronic devices in the mosque.

The researcher attained several results, the most important of which are:

  • The attention of the Islamic Sharia to children and upbringing them on Islamic principles and morals from an early age.
  • The care and realism of Islamic Sharia when it comes to children, according to fundamental rulings and branches in an ideal correct gradation.

Among the most important recommendations are: that parents and educators should be attentive to children from their early childhood, and that they should be brought up on good Islamic morals and principles, as well as highlighting the importance of teaching and educating them on the fundamentals of religion and its general branches from their childhood.
