The Hadiths in which the Phrase: (Read if you Wish) Appears "Collection and Study"

Abstract

The research deals with the transmitted and suspended hadiths that correspond to the Qur’an in the phrase: (Read if you wish).

A collection of hadiths – that are attested in the Qur’an by the expression: (Read if you wish) – is collected, verified and studied. In addition, the research is to draw attention to one of the important aspects of Sunnah's authority, that is nnah's arch highlighted one of the important aspects of its concordance with the Qur'an in many of its meanings, and to highlight those great meanings whose ratification of the Qur’an came from the statement of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.

The researcher relied on the inductive-analytical approach, and reached important results, the most notable of which are that the number of hadiths included in the study is twenty-two, that the accordance of the hadiths of the Prophetic Sunnah with what is stated in the Qur'an as a clear statement from the Prophet, may God bless him and his companions, is a response to the objection to the invocation of the correct Sunnah, and that though there are plenty of hadiths of the Prophetic Sunnah agreeing with what is mentioned in the Qur’an, but these hadiths have the privilege of being specified with the phrase: (Read if you wish), which carries in its folds a great meaning that requires the listener to pay more attention and care.

The most important recommendations are represented in: assembly of hadiths that are verified by Sunnah by quoting the Holy Qur'an without the phrase: (Read if you wish), along with the study and verification of them, highlighting the efforts of the Companions, may God be pleasant with them, in quoting Qur'an in hadith texts, beside specifying study scope to a particular book or topic.ش
