Al-Mawardi's Deductions in his Interpretation "Al-Nukat and Al-Uyoun", which Al-Karmani Admired at in his Interpretation "Gharaa'ib Al-Tafseer Wa'jaa'ib Al-Ta'weel" (Al-Mufassal Surahs as a Model)

Abstract

This research deals with the study of Al-Mawardi's deductions in his interpretation (Jokes and Eyes), which Al-Kermani admired in his interpretation (the Peculiars of Interpretation and the Marvels of Explanation), Al-Mufassal Surahs as a model, in which I touched on the introduction of Al-Mawardi and Al-Kermani and their interpretations, then I set to explain the method of standing on the deductions of Al-Mawardi in his interpretation. Henceforth, I dealt with studying the places in which Al-Kermani was astonished by the deductions of Al-Mawardi, and compared these to the sayings of the interpreters, in order to know the extent of reconciliation between those sayings and the admiration of Al-Kermani. I followed in that the inductive, analytical, and deductive approach.

I reached some results, the most important of which are: 1- the strange saying according to Al-Karmani is: every saying of the interpreters that is worn with the slightest defect and consideration; it is similar to the peculiar saying according to all interpreters; 2- Al-Mawardi’s deductions are all in the place of deliberation: as they violated the consensus in three places, and violated the most correct saying from the sayings of the people of interpretation in two places; 3- the reasons for the admiration of Al-Kermani for the deductions of Al-Mawardi are eight, namely: violating the language - violating the Qur’anic context - not to rely on the legal text - violation of consensus - relying on what is not valid of the reasons of the Qur'anic descent - violation of a rule of interpretation - violation of a rule of weighting among the interpreters - forgetfulness and preceding the pen.

Among the recommendations of the research: 1- continuing the study of the rest of the places that Al-Kermani admired the deductions of Al-Mawardi, which are seven places, 2- devoting and studying the reasons for the admiration of Al-Kermani of the explanatory sayings in his book (The Peculiars of Interpretation and the Marvels of Explanation) in a written scientific thesis.
