Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Qurashi Al-Hanafi (d. 775 AH), may God have mercy on him, and his Book "Al-'Inaayah Bima'rifat Ahaadith Al-Hidaayah"

Abstract

This research presented a comprehensive study on the scholar Abdul Qadir Al-Qurashi, and his book: "Al-'Inaayah fi Takhreej Ahaadith Wa'aathaar Kitab Al-'Inayaah". As this book was the first book classified in verifying Hadiths and traces, it is the most important jurisprudential book and reference in the Hanafi doctrine, and became a reference to all books classified after it in verifying the proofs of "Al-Hidaayah". Therefore, it is of great importance to research in the biography of Al-Qurashi, scrutinize his book – in terms of the motive for its authorship, and the approach that it followed in verification in whole and in detail, as well as the scientific value of the book, in addition to a brief balance between the approach of Al-Qurashi and the approach of Ibn Al-Turkmani and Al-Zayla'i in their two books that dealt with the verification of the hadiths of "Al-Hidaayah".
