Zakat of Raw Materials: its Legitimacy and Assessment – A Practical Jurisprudential Study

Abstract

This research deals with one of the issues of Zakat on money, which is Zakat on raw materials that are used in the manufacture and production of other materials. This kind of Zakat is a branch of trade offers Zakat, and some of the subtle aspects of this issue may be unseen by some traders, such as what Zakat is due on and what is not, how to evaluate that, and what must be given after it is established that Zakat is due, in addition to other issues mentioned in this research.
